Their long-term goal is to make all the numerical data on the internet easy to find and easy to use.

Quandl has also developed an R package which can be easily downloaded from your R Console. Documentation is available both at sites of CRAN and Quandl

Miriada is a Massive Open Online Course site portal, for the Spanish speaking community. It is a nice initiative, since it drives, in an open way, the interests of educational institutions and students.
